|
Eton Manor 0 Bowers & Pitsea 3 |
| Saturday
10th October 09 Kick Off 3pm |
Paul
Carr was Manor's
executioner in the Gordon Brasted Trophy for the second

Bowers & Pitsea into the next round.
Last season it
was his hugely controversial winner for Burnham Ramblers
at the semi final stage, but here there was no doubt
as Bowers ran out comfortable winners.
Manor Assistant
boss Nick Clark said: "The game was tight for half
an hour, but then we gifted them two goals from straight
forward balls that we didn't deal with."

Essex Senior League - League Cup Group C |
|
Eton Manor 1 Clapton 0 |
| Wednesday
14th October 09 Kick Off 7.45pm |
Eton
Manor booked their
place in the League Cup quarter finals after a nervy
1-0 victory over Clapton.
Carl Bailey's
second goal of the season was enough to give the Manor
the three points that they required to win Group C.
Manor dominated
the previous meeting in August but threw away a 3-1
lead in the last 10 minutes to drop 2 points - however,
it was clear early in the game that this was a much
improved Clapton side and the final whistle brought
joy and relief in equal measure, especially after being
knocked out of the Gordon Brasted Trophy by Bowers &
Pitsea on Saturday.
