kick. Bowers reward came from an obscure penalty decision
after 15 minutes 0-1 to Bowers. Manor playing the off

to see by all. The Manor weakened by a depleted squad

showed it had strength in depth by drafting fringe players
into the squad and still managing to get a good result...

great movement in the middle of the park. The Manor
looked strong and did not look like conceding. The Manor's
main threat come from the right hand side, Armstrong
pulling wide gave the Manor it's sharp, however, Armstrong
constantly being pushed off the ball failed to penetrate
deep enough to gain any advantage. Lee Whitelock and

one Brentwood defender too many and not able to deliver

game end to end stuff shame we got nothing out the game
because we deserved something. Again we failed to take
our chances but Andy Hall the Enfield Town goalkeeper
was superb and the double save he made was top drawer.
We dug deep tonight and the kids done good Georgie is
16 and Bradley 17 proud of both of them. I told the
lads after the game if we continue with the same spirit

Braves travelled to Ely City in Cambridgeshire in the
2nd Qualifying round of the Vase. The first 10 minutes
was a scrappy encounter and both teams seems content
just to hold possession. Grant Smith down the right
looked sharp and took the game to Ely, in the 12 minute
Smith crossed the ball found the rejuvenated Felice
who shot just wide of the post. In the 19th minute Johnny

Cruised to a comfortable win against Eton Manor on Saturday
in the First round of the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy.
Romford who were last years winners of this Trophy played
fluent football and netted 4 times against the Braves,
with two goals in the first half and two in the second
puts Romford through to the next round. Goal scorers
were Clark 2, King and Benstock....

night against stiff opposition in Concord Rangers. The
Manor had to call upon their young guns due to a depleted
first team with suspensions and illness preventing a
full strength squad turning out. The Braves youngsters
did themselves proud with 17 year old George Fulbrook,
16 year old Louis Jones and 17 year old Steve Whitelock
all called into action......

Eton Manor were knocked out of
the London Senior Cup on Monday night to a lively Ruislip
team. Ruislip scoring all 3 goals in the first half
and Eton Manor's Steve Redding scoring in the second
period. Ruislip now play Redbridge in the quarter Finals.
The Braves fought hard
in the second half and looked the better side, but for
some poor discipline within the team combined with some
unusual officiating decision meant the Braves could
not climb back into the game. Some positives taken from
the game, two new debuts and good second half performances
from Danny Beattie and David Dowling gave the Manor
shape to the team.

Aveley scored twice in the first half and one late goal

problems all night, and Manor's Carl Prince & Tony

against the Manor by the same score margin.........
