Saturday 14th July 07 Kick Off 1pm

The Manor got the pre-season off to a winning start 'against North London's Kentish Town FC of the Spartan South Midlands League. The Braves dominating the first period of the game scored after Ricardo Amado fed a sublime ball into the path of Anton Stevenson who neatly drilled the ball into the back of the net to make the score 1-0 at the break.

The second half saw a few changes to the Manor line-up. The visitors dug in and worked the ball around the pitch, The Town come close to leveling the score on a few occasions however, it was the Manor who struck against the run of play in the last minute of the game, when
Chris Hammond
recovered what looked like a lost cause to slide the ball to the far post where Amado was waiting to slide the ball into the net. The game finishing 2-0.

Erith Town battled hard in the second period to claw their way to victory after Eton Manor's Anton Stevenson opened the scoring with a well taken goal from close range.

Graham Chester 'Manor Manager allowing his full squad of 25 players a fair run out on Saturday, Chester looking to conclude his final selection of players by next week 'said after the game " I was pleased with the way we played in the second period, this game was never about the win, it was purely about taking a good look a few new players that are trying to break through into the first team. At one point we had Erith on the ropes and looked dangerous with every attack"

Haringey scored 10 minutes from time, the scorer Wayne Grant secured the win from close range. The Manor utilising a big squad of players that would allow Manager Graham Chester to finalise his team selection before the start of the League Season.

Chester speaking after the Game on Saturday said " Our plans are very much still on track and I now have a much better understanding of the talent available to me come the start of the season. Eton Manor Football Club have some exciting times ahead of them, all
will be revealed in the next coming few months.

The Manor proving to strong for Essex side Buckhurst Hill in a pre season friendly on Thursday night. Manor first team Manager Graham Chester was pleased with the performance overall and said " I'm more content with the Team performance of my lads then the result, I put out almost two different sides during the 90 minutes and was pleased with what I saw. Good to See a solid performance by midfielder Lee Smith. I was also extremely impressed with our new signing

, scored two of our goals and fitted in well up front. Also Ricardo Amado found the net plus contributed to an all round good team performance"

Kunle Adeoye The Manor's new signing showed his silky smooth skills whilst bagging an hatrick at the same time. Adeoye using his awesome pace to break the deadlock early in the first period, scored his second before the break and rounded an hatirck mid way through the second period. Adeoye now scored 5 goals in two games, looks to have found a good understanding with the Manor's other front man Anton Stephenson.

Despite the score-line the Manor not having it all their own way & were forced to defend by a lively and competent Epping Team.

Manor Manager Graham Chester was pleased with his teams performance and said " Again, our lads showed that we are hard to contain, we are looking more and more like a unit with each game we play, we have captured some great signings this season and I am full of optimism as we approach the start of the new Season"

The Manor completed their Pre-Season preparations with an outstanding performance against Ryman League opposition Ilford FC. The Braves winning the game by 7-0 with goals from Lee Smith (1) Ricardo Amado (1) Anton Stephenson (1) Steve Willis (1) and Manor goal sensation Kunle Adeoye (3).

Ilford fielding a 2nd string team with only a few first team players available for selection fought hard but were no match for this rampant Manor side that seem to be improving with every game.

Jubilant Manor Manger Graham Chester was full of praise for his Manor side said after the game " What can I say about that result? Our lads were in total control of the game throughout the 90 minutes. Good to see Anton Stephenson back on the score sheet along with Amado, Willis, Smithy and our new signing Kunle Adeoye with another hatrick, that's now 8 goals in 3 games for the young striker. We now plan for our first Competitive game at home against Stansted next Wednesday evening in the Essex Senior League Cup.

The Manor took all three points in this League Cup Group (D) encounter against Stansted on Wednesday evening. The Manor had to wait until the second period of the game to score. Stansted took the Lead when Ricardo Lourd chipped the Manor keeper in the 32nd minute to give the Airportmen the lead.

The Manor's attempts were thwarted in the first half by some outstanding goalkeeping from the Stansted No 1.

It took a 50th Minute goal by the Manor's lively defender Justin Cummings to then allow the floodgates to open. Other Manor Scorers to find the net were Kunle Adeoye, Jamie Wallace, Alinani Mounter plus in form striker Anton Stephenson. The final score 5-1 to the Braves.

The Manor's next game is at home to Colney Health Football Club in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round on Sunday 19th August. Kick off at 3pm.

The Manor swept aside a competent Colney Heath team at St.Chad's on Sunday by 3-1. The Manor progressing through to the Preliminary round of the FA Cup. The Manor have been drawn away to Maldon Town on Saturday 1st September Kick off at 3pm.

The Braves taking the game to Colney Heath' looked in full control in the opening few minutes of the game. The Manor score first after 20 minutes, set-up by a delightful through ball by Striker Anton Stephenson who fed a pin point pass to the feet of the pacey front man Kunle Adeyoe, with the keeper advancing 'Adeyoe intelligently found a spare yard and chips the ball into the back of the net to give the Manor a well deserved lead. Now in the 45th minute and the Manor attack, once again Stephenson the provider squares across goal into the path of Jamie Barry at the back post, great first touch by Barry who then crushes the ball into the goal, 2-0 to the Manor.

Second period and Colney score from a set piece in the 47th minute, looks to put the Manor on the back foot. Colney now more composed as they push on the Manor Goal. It doesn't take long for the Manor to regain their rhythm, 65th minute and Lee Smith the provider, sending a fabulous ball into the Path of Skipper Jamie Wallace who smashes the ball home making the final score 3-1 to the Braves.

The Manor's next game is at home to Barkingside in the Essex Senior League Cup Group stage on Wednesday 22nd August, kick off at 19:45.

The Manor making a few Team changes to the line up that saw the Manor progress into the next Round of the FA Cup last Sunday.

The Braves continue their winning streak to take all 3 points in this League Cup Group D match against Barkingside by 2-1. The Manor dominating the first half took the game to the visitors. Despite not being able to penetrate the Barkingside defence, the Manor put on a fabulous football display against a strong wind, the game remained level at the break.

The Manor sustaining a few injuries on the night. defender Chris Barratt replaced by Justin Cummins & Kunle Adeoye limped off to be replaced by Courtney McClean. The Manor started brightly in the second period and scored a minute into the restart from a well deserved goal from just inside the box by Bradley Nelson. The Manor's second from substitute Courtney McClean from Close range in the 75th minute.

Barkingside tempers begin to fly which saw them down to 9 men, however, they get a lucky break when the Manor Keeper fluffs a clearance to the feet of Foley 'who takes his chance well to bring the Side back into the game. A spirited performance by the now 8 Barkingside men still left on the pitch!

The Manor continue to rain down on the Sides goal, however, fail to deliver the killer blow.

The final result 2-1 to the Manor which leaves them top of Group D with 6 points.

Saturday 25th August 07 Kick Off 3pm

The Manor keep their winning streak going with a 4-2 win over Concord Rangers on Saturday. The Braves gave their all and went in at the break 2-1 up, goals from Man of the Match Steve Willis and in form Striker Bradley Nelson 'who slotted home from a set piece on the edge of the Penalty box.

The Second half The Manor playing some fabulous football, Concord simply chasing shadows as the Manor men rained down on the Concord goal. Anton Stephenson knocked in the Manor's 3rd, followed shortly by the 4th this time by Junior Konadu making the score 4-1 to the Manor.

Concord's Michael Begg slotted his second goal of the game in the 90th minute from a superb solo effort.

The Manor taking much joy from bagging the 3 points but even better delight from an awesome team performance, against a much rated Concord side.

The Manor remain top of Group (D) in the Essex Senor League Cup, despite going down to Barking by 3-0 on Tues Night.

Graham Chester resting the majority of his first team ahead of the FA Cup clash this Saturday away to Maldon Town and paid the price by conceding 3 goals.

All the goals scored in the second period of the game, Miller scoring Baking's first in the 53rd minute. Then in the 65th Minute Barking awarded a Penalty, the Match official allowing Vaughan three attempts before finally beating the Manor keeper to make the score 2-0! Barking then finished off their hatrick of goals in 88th minute when Omegehin scored from close range to seal the victory for the Blues.

The Manor were made to work hard for their 3 points on Wednesday night against a resolute Southend Manor side. The first period saw the Braves in control of the game. Kunle Adeoye back from a two week break with an ankle injury scored after 15 minutes thanks to a a great feed through into the box by Ricardo Amado.

The Braves continued to dominant, hitting the bar from a corner looked to be cruising to vctory.The game remained 1-0 at the break, largely thanks to some great Goal keeping from Southend Manor's No1.

The second half and the visitors looked in determined mood to level the score, forcing the home side to have to dig in. The official allowing 9 minutes of injury time 'meant a nervous end to the game for Eton Manor, however, credit to the Braves for fighting to the end to nick all 3 points against a much improved Southend Manor side.

The Manor conceded a late goal in the 89th minute to lose 3-2 against Stansted on Saturday.

Stansted's recent new signing from Takely FC Greg Taylor opened the scoring in the 38th minute of the game with a delightful volley inside the box. The Manor equalised a few minutes later from Neil Barratt who nudged the ball into the net from close range.

Second half and Barratt again in the 50th minute giving the Manor the advantage 2-1, Stansted draw level from a looping header by Ex Manor man Tony Barnes in the 60th Minute. The final goal scored in the 89th minute, against the run of play 'saw Taylor nick all 3 points after catching the Manor on the counter attack.

The Manor secure their place in the second Round of the Essex Senior Cup' after a robust performance against ESL rivals London APSA on Thursday night. The Manor winning by a convincing margin of 4-0. Manor frontman Anton Stephenson scoring a hatick and Striker

notching up his first goal for the Club.

The Manor went in at the break 1-0 up, Stephenson in the 32nd minute, taking his opportunity well from close range.

The second period and London APSA looked full of spirit as they battled against a strong and vigorous Manor side. The Manor had to wait until the 87th min when Substitute' Ismal Dembelie, playing his first game for the Manor drilled the ball into the net making it 2-0 to the Manor. Stephenson then scoring two goals in five minutes making the final score 4-0.

The Manor now face Tiptree United in the second round after they beat Romford 5-3 in a Penalty shootout on Tuesday night.

The Manor win 4-0 twice in as many days 'against London APSA. Thursday securing a place in the second round of the Essex Senior Cup, then winning Saturday in the League by the same margin!

The Manor start the Match with only one change to Thursday's line up, the talented Justin Cummins in place of Ricardo Amado. The Manor start the more lively of the two sides 'but couldn't open up APSA until the 42nd minute of the Game when inform Striker Anton Stephenson finds a yard of space in the box to slide the ball home 'making the score 1-0 to the Manor at the break.

The Second half and the Braves showing their determination in the hunt for more goals, 53rd minute and Stephenson once again showing his class as he forces his way into the box and gets on the end of a deflected block by the keeper and knocks the ball into the net 2-0 to the Manor.

The Manor sails through to the 1st Round Proper of the FA Vase, with a great team performance against Saffron Walden Town on Saturday.

In form Striker Anton Stephenson scoring a hatrick, his first in the 25th minute after a great through ball from Junior Konadu.

The Second half 'Walden came out with Guns blazing and hit the word work, however, it was the Manor that looked the more threatening as Stephenson netted his second in the 55th minute and his third in the 70th minute after Skipper Steve Willis flicked the ball to Stephenson's feet from a set piece.

The First Team Manager 'Graham Chester said after the Game" We do not need to fear other sides as long as we play up to this standard, I couldn't have asked for anymore from my lads, the result was excellent and the performance was superb"

Clapton scoring in the 44th minute, when Chris Thomas converted a Penalty 'after the Manor's Justin Cummins was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the box!

The Manor come from behind to win 4-2 against North Greenford United in the The First Round Proper of the FA Vase. In-form striker, Anton Stephenson leading the charge to see the Manor through to the second Round Proper.

The Braves having a shaky start to the game, allow North Greenford to take the lead. The Manor struggling to keep possession are made to work hard to keep the score 1-0 at the break.

The second half and with obvious words said by Manor's Manager Graham Chester, the Manor hit Greenford within a few minutes of the restart, Stephenson making no mistake as he drills the ball in to the net.

The Manor now looking more composed on the ball make it two, this time Kunle Adeoye nods the ball over the keeper to make it 2-1 to the Braves. Greenford hit back almost immediately making the score 2-2. Stephenson steps it up a gear as he powers through the Greenford defence to score making it 3-2 to the Manor.

Greenford looking dangerous on the attack come close to going level and would have done 'had it not been for the Manor's No 1 Chamberlain Fankem, who goes down low to pull off a vital save, Stephenson then finishing off with his third and the Manor's forth, making the final score 4-2 to the home side.

The Manor opened the scoring in the 2nd min when Bradley Nelson back from a lengthy absence laid on a fabulous through ball to Anton Stephenson who calmly placed the ball into the net.

A few minutes later 'Nelson again the provider, this time in-form Manor front man Kunle Adeoye with a well timed run 'puts the Manor two goals in front.

The Manor hit on the counter as Romford score from inside the box with a spectacular goal from 10 yards, not allowing the Manor keeper Chamberlain Fankem any chance.

Romford piled on the pressure and looked dominate for most of the second period, however the Manor showing true grit as they soaked up Romford's attacks.

The Manor stay top of Group D with 9 points from a possible 12. Also The Manor continue their run of 8 games without defeat with a convincing 3-0 win against Barkingside on Monday night.

The first period finished 0-0 with both teams having opportunities to score. The second half and The Manor looked in more determined mood as they swept down on to the Barkingside goal. Kunle Adeoye latched on the end of a fabulous through ball from Jamie Wallace to Make the score 1-0. Adeoye again in the 70th minute scored from close range to put the Braves 2-0 up.

Kunle Adeoye scored 4 goals in the second period against Stansted on Tuesday night to push the Manor back to top spot in the League Cup, Group D. The Manor already qualified for the quarter finals before Tuesday nights game went 2-0 down at the break and left it all to do in the second half.

The Manor showing real grit and determination as they fought back in the second period of the game. Stansted were 2-0 up after 16 minutes with goals from Paul Seymour in the 5th minute and Greg Taylor scored from close range in the 16th minute.

The Manor clawed back into the game when Adeoye netted in the 55th & 62nd minute to draw the Braves level, Paul Seymour then putting Stansted back in front 3-2 in the 66th minute, Adeoye hits his hatrick in the 70th minute making it 3-3, Junior Konadu makes it 4-3 to the Manor with Adeoye getting his 4th and the Manor's 5th of the night to make the final score 5-3 to the visiting Braves.

The final game in the group stage is at home against Barking on Wednesday 14th November Kick off at 19:45.

The Manor's nine game unbeaten run came to an abrupt end on Saturday 'against a well orgainsed Enfield outfit. The Manor largely dominating the first period of the game failed to deliver the killer blow.

Second half and Enfield upping the tempo, Sherwin Stanley nodding home from close range in the 49th Minute putting the Manor on the back foot.

The game was killed off in the 85th minute when Enfield substitute Neil Hughes had the easy task of a simple tap-in to make the final score 2-0 to the visitors.

Two new debuts for the Braves, Ex Enfield Town Goalkeeper Andy Hall and Ex Stansted midfield battler Bradley Walsh, both contributing positively.

The Manor faced a determined Stansted side in this Halloween night clash in the GBMT first Round Cup tie at Tilbury.

The Braves missing a few key players on the night showed their strength in depth by forcing a result, which sees Eton Manor in the hat for the Quarter final of the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy.

The first period saw Jamie Wallace with a overhead kick from close range put the Manor in Front. Wallace, playing a front role replacing in-form striker Kunle Adeoye who was ruled out with a knee injury, work tirelessly for 90 minutes. alongside the creative Anton Stephenson.

The second Period and the Manor make it 2-0 when Man of the Match Liam Mulcare went on a mazy run, creating a chance for Chris Barratt who powered the ball home from 15 yards out.

Stansted fought back and grabbed a consolation goal a few minutes from time, Manor keeper Any Hall penalised for a challenge in the box, the Match official not hesitating and gave Stansted a Penalty, which was competently converted leaving the final score 2-1 to the Manor.

The Manor headed up the A12 towards Colchester on Wednesday evening to Play Ryman League opposition Wivenhoe Town in the 3rd Round of the FansFocus.com Essex Senior Cup.

The Manor Men needing very little encouragement 'were clearly up for the challenge of getting through to the 4th round of the Essex Senior Cup for the first time in their long and illustrious history.

The Manor coming close with 3 clear-cut chances in the opening 20 minutes however, finally managed to break the deadlock when Bradley Walsh swerved the ball in off the post from a Corner kick, giving the Manor a much deserved 1-0 lead after 29 minutes.

1-0 at the break and it was the Braves that came out of the blocks in the second period the more determined to further their lead. Wivenhoe desperate to take the game to the Manor but found the visitors defence impenetrable, with Skipper Steve Willis not giving any quarter as he held together his backline. The Manor found the net again in the 60th minute when Man of the Match Chris Barratt crossed a superb ball in the box and onto the head of Bradley Nelson nodding home from close range.

The Manor round off the evening in the 81st minute when Anton Stephenson made it 3-0 on the night from the penalty spot. The Manor cruise through to the 4th Round and have been drawn at Home to Ryman Premier Division East Thurrock United.

The evening saw Skipper Steve Wallis presented with the Man of the 2nd Round award, presented with his trophy by the Esssex FA County officials.

The Manor opened the floodgates on Saturday against Beaumont Athletic. Nippy Midfeilder Liam Mulcare scored after 5 minutes from a Steve Willis pass. The Manor's second in the 8th minute saw a great solo effort from front-man Anton Stephenson who rounded the keeper to slot home. The third coming in the 20th minute from close range, 6ft 4" Neil Barratt nodding home from a superb feed in the box by Stephenson. 35 minutes and Bradley Nelson lobs the Beaumont keeper making it 4-0 at the break.

The second period and the Manor wasting no time to further their lead, 47 minutes, Bradley Nelson Crushes the ball into the top right hand corner to make it 5-0.

Beaumont dig in and work hard to contain a rampant Manor side, chances go begging until the 78th minute when Bradley Nelson slots home his hatrick and the Manor's 6th goal of the game.

The clock ticks down and there is a plethora of chances for the Manor to extend their lead, however, credit to Beaumont players who show plenty of heart to keep the final score line 6-0.

The Manor secured pole position in Group D of the League Cup by beating Barking 1-0 in the last Group game of the competition on Tuesday night. The Braves now face Burnham Ramblers in the knockout stages.

The Manor had plenty of chances to bury the game but had to wait until the 89th minute to secure the points when Manor striker Kunle Adeoye back from injury scored the winning goal.

The Manor crashed out of the FA Vase against Ridgeons League Leaders Needham Market on Saturday. The game evenly contested until the 19th minute, when Needham score from a quickly taken free kick. The game then turned sour in the 22nd minute when the Match official
Mr Leech sent off Eton Manor's keeper Andy Hall for a challenge outside the area. The Manor down to 10 men equalised shortly after when Neil Barratt broke into the Needham box to slot home.

Needham made it 2-1 a few minutes before the break. The game remained even until midway through the second period when Needham made it 3-1, the extra man now telling as the home side score their 4th of the game to make it 4-1. Mr Leech once more stealing the limelight, reducing the Manor to 9 men, this time showing a second yellow card to striker Anton Stephenson with 5 minutes remaining on the clock.

The Game finished 4-1 to the home side, a miserable day for the Braves, who worked hard, hit the woodwork twice, but just didn't get the rub of the green on the day.

Kunle Adeoye secured another fine hatrick for the Manor on Tuesday night, as the Braves cruise through to the Semi Final of the Gorden Brasted Memorial Trophy, by beating Mauritius Sports by a comfortable margin.

The first period saw the Manor stutter to find their feet on a boggy surface, it wasn't until the 20th minute that the Manor managed to open up the home side, Adeoye the scorer. Neil Barratt Next on the score sheet in the 29th minute from close range. Mauritius pull one back to make the score 2-1. A few minutes later Manor Skipper Steve Willis steady's the nerves as he slots home making the score 3-1. The Manor not having it all their own way, some fabulous goal keeping by Manor's Andy Hall kept the score 3-1 at the break.

Early in the second period and the Manor score again, Kunle Adeoye scores he's second of the night. Manor continue to pressure The Mauritius defence and get their rewards, Adeoye secures his hatrick on the night and the Manor 5th.

The Manor's sixth come when the Mauritius Keeper came out of his box with the ball at his feet, possibly in an attempt to rouse his team mates, the keeper managing to get to the half way line, when met by Neil Barratt who makes a solid tackle, comes away with the ball, punts the ball 45 yards into the empty net. 6-1 to the Manor. With a few minutes remaining on the clock the Manor score their 7th Jason Fox this time from close range smashes the back into the net completing a convincing & comfortable win for the Braves by 7-1.

Saturday 1st December 07 Kick Off 3pm

The Manor following on from their midweek 7-1 win over Mauritius Sports to bag 3 goals against ESL rivals Basildon Utd on Saturday.

Anton Stephenson opened the scoring from a tight angle to put the Braves in front in the 27th minute. The Manor continued to put pressure on Basildon's goal, Chris Barratt coming close with a well timed header that smashed off the crossbar.

The second period and within a few minutes of the restart Man of the Match Neil Barratt curls the ball into the net from 18 yards to put the Manor 2-0 up.

Basildon come close, hitting the woodwork, but Manor Keeper Andy Hall looking solid as the last line of defence.

Stephenson shows his composer as he nets his second of the game, sliding the ball past the keeper to make the final score 3-0 to the Manor.

The Manor secured a Quarter final place in the Fansfocus.com, Essex Senior Cup. The Braves beating Ryman Premier outfit East Thurrock United on Wednesday night by 3-0.

The first half saw a rugged midfield battle, both teams canceling one another out. East Thurrock with the wind advantage playing some fluent football, however, the Manor back line staying strong, with Skipper Steve Willis in top form contained East Thurrocks attempts on goal.

The second period and the Manor score after some great work by Liam Mulcare down the right, the ball driven in low, Manor front man Kunle Adeoye slides the ball to the hardworking striker Anton Stephenson who proficiently guides the ball in to the net, 1-0 to the Manor.

The Braves using the wind to their advantage, keep the pressure on East Thurrocks defence, Neil Barratt forcing a mistake and heads off towards goal, the ball rebounds off a wall of defenders and into the path of Liam Mulcare who smashes the ball home, 2-0.

The Manor now full of confidence as they rain down on East Thurrocks goal. Man of the Match Liam Mulcare once again, in the right place at the right time as he crushes the ball into the net after a great feed through by Bradley Nelson.

A fabulous win for the Manor, and a great team performance. The Manor now face Redbridge FC at Tilbury in the last 8 of the competition.

The Manor stumbled in Quarter Final (First Leg) of the League Cup against Burnham Ramblers on Saturday.

The Manor opened the scoring in the 43rd minute when Chris Barratt nodded home from close range. Burnham with the wind advantage come close hitting the bar from 30 yards out.

The second half and The Manor poured pressure on Burnhams goal 'but it was the visitors who scored in the 65th minute. Ward, dropping his shoulder from inside the box, fires home the equaliser, 1-1.

As the rain lashes down in the 81st minute, against the run of play, Burnham's Nick Muir goes solo down the Manor right, into the box and lines up his shot past the outstretched hands of the Manor keeper, Kenny Addai, making it 2-1 to the visitors.

The Manor men down, but certainly not out 'as the second Leg at Burnham will be a tightly fought battle. The Manor Team management are hopeful that regular first team players missing from Saturday's clash will be available for selection come the return leg scheduled in January 2008.

The Manor failed to impress on a Cold Saturday afternoon against second in the table Barkingside. Despite the Manor having most of the possession simply couldn't find the net until the 90th minute of the game.

Barkingside made the most of their 3 shots on target by scoring 3 goals 'which keeps them in second spot, 6 points behind Enfield 1893 with two games in hand.

Barkingside went in at the break 1-0 up, the Manor then raising their game further in the second period and launched everything at the home side, but the Braves efforts were met with some resolute Barkingside defending. The Manor then caught twice on the counter leaving the score 3-0 to Barkingside at the 90th minute mark. A late consolation goal from Manor substitute Neil Barratt nodding home from close range to make the final score 3-1 to Barkingside.

The Manor lose to Stansted on a bitter cold Wednesday night. The Braves down 2-0 in the first 6 minutes, Anton Stephenson managed to pull one back on the stroke of half time.

Second half despite the Manor having the majority of possession simply couldn't penetrate a determined Stansted defence. Some great chances go begging, front man Kunle Adeoye came close numerous times by couldn't find the back of the net. The final score 2-1 to Stansted.

The Manor without a win in their last three matches look to get the season back on track starting on the 26th December when they face Mauritius Sports & Pennant at Aveley, kick off at 12 noon.

Eton Manor Football Club is pleased to confirm the signing of Ex Enfield Town player Bradley Brotherton, Brotherton came on against Stansted for the last 10 minutes is looking to get back to full fitness and is hopeful to be selected against Mauritius on Boxing Day.

Wednesday 26th December 07 Kick Off 12noon

The Manor came from 2 goals behind to take all 3 points against Mauritius Sports & Pennant on Boxing Day.

The Braves conceding in the 4th minute, Mauritius Captain Ahbab Hussain heads home from close range to put the home side in front, despite some good chances from both sides the game remained 1-0 at the break.

The second period and Mauritius hit the Manor on the counter, Stephen Opoka took his chance well in the 50th minute, Mauritius now two goals in front. The Manor bench make 3 consecutive substitutes. The Manor now stepping it up a gear and sweep down on the Mauritius goal. 75th minute and Anton Stephenson finds a few yards of space to drill home for the Manor, 2-1 and game on. A minute later and Kunle Adeoye smashes the ball into the net making the score 2-2 after 76 minutes on the clock.

82nd minute and Mauritius nearly take the lead, Manor keeper Kenny Addai makes a fabulous save 'low to his right to keep the score level.

In the 90th minute and inform Manor striker Kunle Adeoye sweeps the ball into the net giving the Manor all 3 points and his second goal of the afternoon.

The Manor showed great character to come back from a 2-0 deficit against a much improved Mauritius side.

The Manor came from behind to win by a comfortable margin on Saturday against Sawbridgeworth Town.

Adam Sontag opened the score for the visitors in the 10th minute. The Manor left it until the 40th minute to draw level, when Chris Barratt stabbed the ball home from a corner.

The second period and the Manor not wasting time in finding their rhythm, Bradley Brotherton scores from a set piece to put the Manor in front. The Braves continue to put Sawbo under pressure, Danny Dobson feeds a great pass in to the Box, Liam Mulcare slides the ball in to the path of Kunle Adeoye who side footed the ball in to the net to make it 3-1.

The Manor playing some flowing football using the flanks to create many chances, Marq Odojukan glides down the right, sending in a superb pass to the feet of Anton Stephenson who picks his corner to make the score 4-1. Again the Manor using the width of the pitch to create their 5th goal, a great one two from Dobson and Odojukan sees the ball thread through in to the path of Stephenson and from 6 yards out smashes the ball in to the back of the net.

The final goal came after Chris Barratt sent a pinpoint pass across goal onto the head of Adeoye 'who nods home his second and the Manor's 6th of the game.

The Manor secure a place in the Semi Final of the League Cup after a thrilling second leg tie against Burnham at Leslie Filed's on Saturday. The Manor on the back foot after losing the first leg at Tilbury by 2-1.

It took the Manor 53 minutes before finally Managing to break-down a stubborn Burnham defence. Anton Stephenson driving the ball to the by-line, before cutting in from an acute angle he stroked the ball into the net to make the score 2-2 on aggregate. The Braves needed a second goal to secure their spot in the Semi Final, this came in the 70th minute, when new striker Manley Brown got his head onto a corner supplied by Liam Mulcare to put the Manor in front 3-2.

Burnham refusing to lay back pull the score level to 3-3 as the game goes into Extra time.

Extra time first period and Burnham break free down the Manor right to score, making it 4-3 to the home side. Into the second period of Extra time and with 2 minutes left on the clock 'Manor Skipper Steve Willis nudges the ball across the line to level the score 4-4 on aggregate.

The game to be decided by a penalty shoot-out. The Manor needing to take 11 penalties with the last falling to Goal keeping Hero Andy Hall to convert his penalty kick to give the Manor a well deserved place in the Semi final of the League Cup.

The Manor were overcome by a clinical Redbridge team effort on Wednesday night. The Manor 2-0 down at the break, were lucky not to have conceded more during a last 10 minute spell in the first period when Redbridge laid siege on the Manor goal.

The second period and the Manor upped the tempo and were camped for long periods of time in the Redbridge penalty area, could have easily drawn level as the Manor's game become revitalised. However, it was Redbridge who capitalised on the counter, scoring twice in the last few minutes of the game, which allows Redbridge to advance to the Semi Final of the Essex Senior Cup.

The Manor fought back from a two goal deficit to win 4-2 against Baking on Saturday. The Visitors started the brighter in the first period and capitalised when the Manor lost possession in their own half. The ball driven in feisty from the Manor left into the box and Barking's Steve Slade with only the keeper to beat slides the ball home.

Barking once again finding space down the Manor left resulted in Steve Slade netting his second of the game to make it 2-0 to Barking.

The Manor step up the pressure and force a corner in the remaining few minutes of the first period, Kunle Adeoye at the near post looks to have made contact, but the shot deflecting off a Barking leg making the score 2-1 to the Blues at the break.

The second half and it’s now all Eton Manor, a few tactical changes sees the influential Bradley Brotherton into the centre of midfield replacing the hard working Neil Barratt.

Danny Dobson screams down the Barking right, sends in a teasing ball across goal, Anton Stephenson forcing the defender to try and clear with his head only for the ball smash into the top netting 2-2.

Danny Dobson once again opening up Barking down the right squares the ball to the feet of Stephenson who sends a pinpoint pass to Brotherton, taking his time to readjust his position before lashing the ball into the net, 3-2 to the Manor.

The Manor now terrorising Barking's defence, the final goal scored by Manor substitute, Loren Dallo, Dallo onto a great ball from Steve Willis, Dallo then threads his way into the Barking penalty box to make the final score 4-2 to the Braves.

The Manor taking all three points in a muddy encounter against Romford on Tuesday night. The game in serious doubt due to adverse weather conditions, however, the match officials with the support of Romfords ground staff ensured the game went ahead.

Romford took the lead in the early stages of the game, the Manor defence caught flat footed and paid the price, 1-0 to Romford.

The Manor respond in the 15th minute of the game when bustling defender Neil Barratt scores his 6th Competitive league goal of the season to draw level.

In the second period and the Manor hit Romford almost from the kick-off, Manor striker Anton Stephenson plays a fabulous ball into the path of Kunle Adeoye who places the ball into the net, making it 2-1 to the Manor.

5 Minutes later 'Adeoye once again, this time the ball swung in from the right into the box by Jordan Childs 'which sets up Adeoye to score his second of the game, 3-1 to the Manor.

The Manor continue to push hard at the Romford defence and get their reward in the 86th minute, Ray Coker sends a superb ball across field into the path of Man of the Match "Jordan Childs" 'who smashes the ball past the outstretched hands of Romfords keeper Neil Finn to make the final score 4-1 to the Braves.

Saturday 26th January 08 Kick Off 3pm

The Manor taking a well deserved three points from a game they totally dominated. The Manor took the game by the scruff of the neck in the opening few minutes 'but wasn't able to penetrate a stubborn APSA defence until the 31st minute 'when Manor front man Israel Toko playing his home debut slotted home after a delightful through ball into the box by Courtney Mclean.

The Manor continued to rain down on the APSA goal, and would have scored a hatful had it not been for the heroics of APSA's Stand-in Keeper Simon Bush.

Second half & the Manor coming close on a number of occasions,
Manley Brown
and Kunle Adeoye both coming close but failed to extend their lead.

The Manor finally winning 1-0, but could not hide their disappointment not to have extended their goal average.

The Manor winning their Semi Final clash against a hard working Southend Manor side, in the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy. The Manor last appeared in a Cup Final back in 1938 losing to Romford in the London Cup.

The Braves had their work cut out in the opening 15 minutes as the Sea-siders worked hard to try and penetrate the Manor's defence. It wasn't until the 39th minute that the home side managed to break through Southend's stubborn defence, from a 10 man pass, which lead to
Neil Barratt's
neat ball into the path of Anton Stephenson who drilled the ball home from inside the box.

The second period and the Braves pressurising the visitors defence, some great work by Manley Brown in the 55th minute setting up

who smashes the ball home from outside the box to give the Manor a 2-0 lead.

The game finished 2-0 to the Braves to great relief to the Eton Manor faithful 'who can now look forward to facing Concord Rangers in the Final.

The Manor looked to be cruising for the full 3 points until a spirited Hullbridge side stole a point with two late goals in the dieing minutes of the game.

The Manor took the lead in the 15th minute when Danny Dobson scored from just inside the box. Hullbridge hit back in the 33rd minute when Chay Spreadbourgh latched onto the ball in the Manor box and scored from a tidy effort to make it 1-1.

The Manor get their second a few minutes later when Anton Stephenson scores from a corner driven in by Liam Mulcare.

Stephenson nets his second of the game after some good work down the left by Jordan Childs, Childs into the Hullbridge box turning the defence and lays a great ball into the path of Stephenson who smashes home to give the Manor a 3-1 lead at the break.

The second period and the Manor seemingly in control of the game until the 88th minute when Hullbridge win a free Kick on the edge of the area, Substitute Garry Patterson converts the free kick to make the score 3-2. Now in injury time and Hullbridge surging forward get an equaliser when Tyla Phillips smashes the ball home from 6 yards out to level the score at 3-3.

The Manor move up 3 places in the League to 5th position thanks to a 87th minute strike by Bradley Nelson against Bowers & Pitsea on Wednesday night. The Braves now with 36 points from 18 games played.

The Manor resting a few first team players carrying injuries looked in control for most of the game, some missed chances in the first half saw the score 0-0 and looked to be heading for a draw, until Nelson working his way back to full fitness took his chance well in the closing minutes of the second half.

Manor Manager Graham Chester was delighted after the game he said " I am proud of our lads tonight, they showed real spirit and worked hard to get the result needed, only 3 points would have satisfied me especially after Saturday's disappointment at Hullbridge. I needed to rest a few players tonight as we have a few games coming up back to back and we shall be fighting for every point"

The Manor were made to work hard for a point against a new look Romford side on Saturday. The Manor last met Romford mid January whilst taking all 3 points by winning 4-1, however, this time round Romford were not going to lay down as they pushed the Braves right up to the final whistle.

The Manor opened the scoring in the 24th minute, Jordan Childs with a fine feed through for Anton Stephenson who finds the net from inside the box, Romford reply in the 26th minute when Manzi Mabla levels the score to 1-1.

Childs again setting up Stephenson's second goal. Stephenson rounds the Romford keeper to make the score 2-1 after 32 minutes, Romford reply once more in the 35th minute, Bradley Jones this time levels the score 2-2.

The second half both teams canceling each other out resulting in the final score 2-2 after 90 minutes.

The Manor move into 4th position in the league after their convincing 4-0 win against Basildon United on Tuesday night, Bradley Nelson notched up his second hatrick of the Season.

The Manor finding their rhythm early in the game scored in the 11th minute when Bradley Nelson stole the ball off of Basildon's keeper to slot home from close range.

Manors second scored in the 24th minute, Lee Smith scoring his first goal of the season from a Corner kick taken by the Manor's Jordan Childs.

Nelson scoring his second in the last few minutes of the first period, as he slots home after Danny Dobson nodded the ball into the path of Nelson who rounded the keeper to make the score 3-0 at the break.

The second period and Basildon dug in, the visitors closed up shop until the 83rd minute when Jamie Wallace gets into the box and unselfishly passing across goal into the path of Nelson who scored from 6 yards out to score his 3rd and the Manor's 4th of the game to make the final score 4-0 to the Manor.

The Manor secured all three points on Saturday against Southend Manor. The Braves made hard work of this match in the first period, the game level at the break 0-0.

The second period and the visitors getting a well deserved first goal, Jamie Wallace started and finished the move that put Eton Manor ahead.

The second goal scored from the penalty spot, Steve Reading cooley slotted the ball into the net to give his side a 2-0 lead.

The Manor's third goal scored by new signing Ricky Hussein playing his debut for the Manor smashes the ball home from just inside the box.

The Manor remain in 4th position but continue to close the gap at the top of the Essex Senor League.

The Manor scored a late winner on Saturday against Barking to take a 1 goal advantage back to Tilbury on the 29th March.

The first period of the game saw Barking contain a lively Manor side that were not content with sitting back and defending. Liam Mulcare coming close in the 43rd minute when he broke free into the Blues box only to be denied by Barking's goalkeeper Liam Stone.

The second period and the Manor now with the wind at their backs caused Barking a few problems. however, the Manor went down to 10 men 11 minutes into the restart, Bradley Nelson shown a straight red for a foul off the ball.

In to injury time and the Manor awarded a corner, the ball driven in by Liam Allen onto the head of Jason Fox, the ball rebounds off the bar and into the path of Neil Barratt who heads the ball into the net, 1-0 to the Manor.

The Manor simply need to hold their nerve in the 2nd leg to book their place in the Final of the League Cup.

The Manor secured 3 points by beating old rivals Clapton on Tuesday night. The game was as expected for this local derby a feisty encounter with the Manor coming out the eventual winners.

The Manor reduced to 10 men in the 37th minute after Anton Stephenson was given his marching orders for an off the ball incident.

Manor Skipper Steve Willis taking the lead netted the Manor opener from a set piece in the 18th minute, shortly followed by an equaliser, Ex Manor favorite Ricki DeFreitas scored from a knock-on to slide the ball past Andy Hall.

Steve Willis once more scored from a set piece, making the score 2-1 at the break.

The second half was similar to the first; in that the Manor dominating proceedings, should have scored a hat-full however, only one goal converted by Jordan Childs who rounded a packed Clapton defence to slide the ball home from inside the box.

3 valuable points which puts the Manor back into 4th spot and chasing the front pack at the top of the league.

The Manor scored two goals in the second half to take all 3 points against a hard working Sawbridgeworth side on Saturday. The first period saw front man Anton Stephenson hit the woodwork from a 22 yard free kick.

The second half and the Manor with the wind at their backs playing some delightful attacking football whilst the defence stayed strong. Eton Manor Man of the Match Steve Reading looked solid all game strengthening his understanding with Manor skipper Steve Willis.

Manor's first goal came from a set piece on the edge of the box, Jordan Childs crosses into the area headed towards goal by Neil Barratt, Sawbo's keeper Dan Bibby gets a hand to the ball, however it fell kindly to Ricky Husseyn who stroked the ball into the net from close range, making it 1-0 to the Manor.

The second and final goal came in the 89th minute, Liam Allen into the box but was clipped by the advancing keeper, match official Lee Dorling not hesitating in pointing to the spot. Stephenson stepped up to land his 32nd goal of the season making it 2-0 to the Braves.

The Manor lost to a hard working and determined Barkingside team on Saturday by 2-1. The Braves needed to win to continue to press the teams at the top of the league.

Barkingside scored first, the ball driven to the back post where the Barkingside head of Dominic Harkins was waiting, the ball brushed off the post before nestling in the net, 1-0 to the visitors.

Second half and the Manor struggling to keep possession 'get hit on the counter, Barkingside corner the ball cleared only as far as Barkingside's Matt Frew on the edge of the box, with his back to goal sends in an over-head kick into the net, making it 2-0 to Barkingside.

In the 90th Minute Manor push forward, Fabian Brown does well to get into the box and blast the ball into the net, final score 2-1 to Barkingside.

Eton Manor's Cup dreams were shattered by a two goal strike by Concord's Danny Heale and a back post winner by Tommy Lee in the second period of the game.

The Manor taking the game to Concord in the first half, hitting the woodwork twice before Liam Allen put the Braves in front in the 43rd minute of the game with a 25 yard screamer.

The second half and Concord came out fighting, Concords Tommy Lee wins a penalty and Heale steps up to convert from the spot.

Heale then scores from close range to put his side in front after some good work down the left flank by Michael Begg.

Tommy Lee scores at the back post putting Concord 3-1 up after 64 minutes.

Anton Stephenson pulls one back for the Manor from inside the six yard box making the score 3-2 leaving the remaining 15 minutes of the game a tense nail-biter.

Eton Manor got their season back on track with a convincing 3-1 win over ESL rivals Mauritius Sports & Pennant on Bank holiday Monday. The Manor with a few changes to the starting line up that faced Concord in the GBMT Final on Saturday took control of the game in the second period to take all 3 points.

Mauritius struck first in the 18th minute, Roy Jones taking his goal well from close range. The Manor leveled the score 2 minutes later when Ricky Husseyn put through Clint Hodge to score.

In the second period and a double strike from Anton Stephenson saw off the visitors and places the Manor back into 4th spot in the League with 52 points.

The Manor's next game is at home on Tuesday evening 1st April against Barking in the Semi Final Second leg of the League Cup, kick off at 7:45pm.

The Manor secure their place in the Final of the League Cup by beating Barking 2-1 on Tuesday night and 3-1 on aggregate. The Manor will now face Concord Rangers in the final to be played at Bowers & Pitsea FC on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May 2008.

The Manor playing some flowing football pinned Barking in their own half for long periods of the game. Jamie Wallace opened the scoring in the 25th Minute, a solo run on goal saw the versatile Manor player place the ball into the net from just inside the box.

Into the second period and Wallace scores once more as he latches onto a pass across goal from Neil Barratt, to score from close range.

Barking convert a penalty in the 85th minute Chris Taylor converts from the spot making the final score 2-1 to the Braves.

The Manor were given a lesson in football on Monday night by a very different Beaumont side that faced the Manor back in November, when the Manor ran out comfortable 6-0 winners.

Beaumont opened the scoring in the first half after Andy Hall made a spectacular save to push the ball on to the post, however, the ball fell kindly for Beaumont to slot home making it 1-0 after 32 minutes. The home side playing some delightful football and looked worthy of their lead.

The second period and the Manor struggling to keep pace with a vibrant Beaumont side who fought for every ball and left the Manor chasing shadows for most of the evening. Some good passing from Beaumont resulted in their second goal slotted home from close range and their 3rd scored in the 75th minute.

The Manor scored a late consolation goal in the 85th minute, Liam Allen chipped the Beaumont keeper who was a spectator for most of the game to make the final score 3-1 to Beaumont.

The Manor gave a spirited response against Enfield on Thursday night after the disappointment of Monday's performance against Beaumont Athletic. The Braves playing flowing football in the first period opened the scoring in the 8th minute, Jamie Wallace timing his run to perfection 'as he battles his way into the Enfield box to loop the ball into the net, making it 1-0 to the Manor.

The second period and the Manor using the flanks to stretch the home side scored their second of the night in the 50th minute when Bradley Nelson curls the ball into the bottom corner of the net, giving the Manor a two goal lead.

Enfield hit back in the 75th minute when Sherwin Stanley stabs the ball home from close range. Enfield continue to press the Manor and got an equaliser in the 81st minute, Kevin Cooper levels the game to make it 2-2.

The Manor scored twice in the second half to secure all three points against a young and enthusiastic Hullbridge side. The Manor riddled with injuries still looked solid in defence.

The Braves despite playing 4 games in the last 9 days looked hungry for a result and battled hard in the first period without causing Hullbridge to much concern.

The Second period and the Manor piled on the pressure and got their reward in the 70th minute, Danny Dobson with a delightful pass onto the chest of Manor striker Bradley Nelson, whose first touch was class 'as he smashed the ball into the net to make it 1-0 to the Manor.

84th minute and Jordan Childs with a accurate pass across goal into the path of Bradley Nelson who crushed the ball home from close range to make the final score 2-0 to the Manor.

The Manor show tremendous spirit to fight back from a two goal deficit to take all 3 points against Bowers & Pitsea on Tuesday night. The Manor scoring all three goals in the second half all from Corners supplied by Clint Hodge.

Bowers opened the scoring in the 7th minute when Scott Pethers broke through to slot past the outstretched hands of Manor's keeper Andy Hall. Bowers second goal scored in the 55th minute after the visitors striker Jamie Clark latched onto a wayward back pass to curl the ball into the net to make it 2-0.

The Braves lifted their game and surged on the Bowers goal, got their first in the 66th minute, Neil Barratt nods home from close range. Manor's second was met by the head of Jamie Wallace who leveled the score 2-2.

The game now in the Manor's control and in the 84th minute, a great delivery from Hodge onto the head of Steve Reading who blasts the ball into the net making the final score 3-2 to the Manor.

The Manor secure 4th spot in the league after a convincing display against Barking on Saturday. Manor's front-man Anton Stephenson back from a lengthy suspension netted a hatrick to give the Braves all three points.

Stephenson showing his prowess in front of goal scored his first in the 36th minute after rounding the Barking keeper to take the lead 1-0. Stephenson once more sets off towards goal from a fabulous direct ball from Clinton Hodge, Stephenson does well to shake off two defenders to launch the ball over the head of the advancing keeper to make it 2-0 at the break.

Second period and the Manor come close on more then a few occasions finally seal the win when Stephenson once again not content with his two goals scored his third in the 64th minute 'as he rounds the keeper and with a defender still on the line plants the ball in the net making it 3-0.

Barking get a late consolation goal in the last 10 minutes of the game making the final score 3-1 to the Braves.

Special congratulations to Stephenson 'as he now passes the half century mark for goals for the Manor and after today's tally takes him to 51 goals in total.

Concord Rangers move a step closer to the title with a 3-1 win against the Manor on Tuesday night with a supercilious performance. Concord opened the scoring in the 14th minute, with a auspicious long range effort finding the net through a packed defence.

Concord extend their lead in the 24th minute, a long range free kick into the Manor box takes a palpable defection off a Concord hand, so unconcealed was the hand ball the Manor Keeper Andy Hall makes no attempt to make the save expecting a free kick, however, the match official Mr Pope signals for a goal!

Man Management goes AWOL by Mr Pope as the Manor reduced to 10 men 30 minutes into the game, Ray Coker given a straight Red card after an over reaction when complaining of a elbow in the side of his face. Coker wins the free kick 'but is given his matching orders!

The second half and the Manor pull one back, Bradley Nelson nods home from a Manley Brown Free kick. Concord extend their lead beating the offside trap to slot home past the Manor keeper.

The game finishing 3-1, attempts from both sides to score in the last remaining minutes. Concord need to beat Barkingside on Saturday to take the Essex Senior League title.

The Manor complete their League season with a home win against Burnham Ramblers on Saturday. The Manor creating many chances 'but managed to convert three in the first period of the game.

Jamie Wallace opened the scoring in the 14th minute to put the Manor in front, 6 minutes later Anton Stephenson finds the net to make it 2-0. Stephenson scores his second and the Manor's third a few minute before the break to give the Braves a 3-0 lead at half time.

Second period and Burnham close the gap when O'sullivan scores to make it 3-1. Burnham score from the penalty spot in the 58th minute, Day making no errors as he drills the ball in the net to make it 3-2.

A nervous remaining 20 minutes which sees the Manor tighten their defence to take all 3 points and hand them 4th spot in the Essex Senior League, just piping Romford by 1 point.

The ESL title Championship goes to Concord Rangers who managed to clinch the title on the last day of the league season by beating Barkingside 1-0.

The Manor cneeded a big performance against Concord Rangers on Bank Holiday Monday in the League Cup Final in front of 519 spectators.

The Braves were two up after 20 minutes, Anton Stephenson finding the net in the 18th minute, Neil Barratt the Supplier. Two minutes later
Lee Smith
nods home from a set piece making the score 2-0.

Concord hit back in the 27th minute, Danny Heale scores from close range. Concord equalise in the 30th minute, a through ball down the centre to Shane Oakley who does well to shoot passed Andy Hall to level the score 2-2.

38 minutes on the clock and Manley Brown picks out Stephenson down the right 'as he cuts into the box with defenders in toe and lashers the ball into the net making it 3-2 at the break.

Second Period and the Manor tighten up at the back, chances go begging for both sides, however the Manor shut up shop and win by 3-2.

The Manor Win their first Senior Trophy in 70 years, Man of the Match and Eton Manor Skipper Steve Willis plus Manor Chairman Reg Curtis lift the Cup together in Celebration.
