Tuesday 6th October 2009 - Kick Off 7.45pm

Eton Manor fell at the first hurdle in the Essex Senior Cup after fielding a much weakened team at Burnham Ramblers. The visitors started slowly and soon fell behind to a goal by Chris Lewis.

Eton Manor were employing their regular centre half Neil Barratt as a centre forward due to leaving out 8 regular first team squad members. Manor were 3-0 down by the time he backhealed an excellent goal to reduce the arrears to 3-1. However, the visitors inexperience told in the last 15 minutes after captain Dean Frett was withdrawn and the final score of 7-1 was evidence of Burnham's dominance.
